The cheesemonger is a literal window into the best of british cheese across ‘hards,’ ‘rinded’ and ‘softs,’ selected specially for us and at just the right moment to eat. There are cheeses from goat, sheep and cow, a variety of pasteurized and unpasteurized, and varieties of strength.
With cheese sorted, add a box of freshly made zingy salads. Often vegan and GF, our 3-5 daily salads are carefully put together to provide meals in their own right or selected as a mix. Add to this a daily protein fix (like fillet and chimichurri), Iron Age Pork sausage roll or Lentil Dahl Pasty and you have the perfect summer picnic. Ah yes, and not forgetting – fresh bread to accompany it all from our friends at the Chapel, epic sourdoughs, focaccias and ciabattas, baguettes on Saturdays and daily pastries.
