FAQS

We’ve tried our best to ensure our website is as informative as possible but here are a few questions you may have on your mind.

Where are you?
You can find our TEALS store just off the A303 in a stunning part of Somerset, roughly half way between London and Devon/Cornwall. You can get to us easily whether travelling east or west.
How do I get in touch for press or media enquiries?
For media enquiries please contact us at hello@teals.co.uk
Will you be Covid-safe?
Yes. We have reviewed our store and restaurant layouts in relation to Covid guidelines and have put in place measures to meet them. We have put in place strict health and safety protocols to keep all visitors to TEALS safe.
What are your opening hours?
TEALS is open from 8am – 6pm 7 days a week most days of the year. Our kitchen serves breakfast, lunch and afternoon treats. We are not open in the evenings. Our Food market including Deli, Bakery and Butchers is open throughout the day as well as our lifestyle and gift section.
Can I book a table to eat?
Yes, you can book a table in the restaurant for breakfast or lunch in advance by emailing hello@teals.co.uk
Do you have disabled access?
We have 3 marked disabled parking bays at the front of the store and flat access from here into the store through the main entrance and to the food market and restaurant. There is a disabled toilet.
Is e-charging available
We have 10 x Grid Serve medium power chargers available for your guests to use. They are open from 8am-5.45pm 7 days a week.
Can I bring my dog to Teals?
We don’t allow dogs inside, however, we do have designated outdoor areas that are dog friendly. Feel free to enjoy our food to go offering in these spaces.
Many of our local guests walk to us with their four-legged friends and we’re also keen to ensure those travelling through have somewhere safe to water and exercise all members of the family. When you arrive you’ll see a large field sign-posted ‘Dog Jog,’ to the left of the store as you look from the car park. Please be considerate of other dog owners when walking your pooches. We also welcome and have provided dog rings in the front and rear courtyards.
There are a couple of areas we like to keep dog-free on health grounds. The orchard is often used in spring by families who pick up picnics from us (poo and sarnies don’t mix well) and the store itself is dog-free. Some guests find it unusual that we do not allow dogs inside and we appreciate this can appear to be a restraint. However, our experience is that some dogs do not mix well and others can upset young children. We are also keen to ensure that guests with serious allergies do not feel in any way unsafe when with us.
Should you have any questions please do email or call us and we’ll be happy to explain further.
Are all TEALS products available to buy online?
At the moment this is not possible, but we are working towards having online shopping and click and collect available for our customers in the future.
I like the sound of Teals, how do I get in touch if I want to work with or supply you?
We love hearing from potential suppliers or team members! Drop us a line in the first instance at hello@teals.co.uk and one of the team will get back to you.
Is the orchard open for visitors?
Yes the orchard is open for visitors to enjoy we just ask that visitors stay away from the beehives at the bottom of the orchard (these are fenced) and don't feed the cows.
