My husband treated me to a birthday lunch. As vegetarians it’s hard to find tasty, good quality food. Teals did not disappoint. Absolutely delicious!

This place is just amazing. With sensational local products and the most wonderful chefs and kitchen, it’s a place I go back to again and again. The dishes are seasonal inspired by produce gathered by farmers, artisan craftspeople, producers, makers and bakers, and honestly, you’d want to eat and buy it all. I go regularly and often wish I could just move in! I love in particular the thoughtful and inspiring menu – restaurant quality dishes crafted with real care and sensitivity for the ingredients. Spot on. Not to be missed.

Wow it was fabulous!
Stopped for a flat white as it’s just off the A30 and can’t stand Starbucks all along this route. Wow it was fabulous. Gorgeous coffee shop, restaurant and farm shop. Will be back!

Just off the A303 and would certainly go again. Excellent food and a good upstairs cafe space. Good prices. Excellent coffee and I do admit to being picky about coffee but theirs is good. We also got really good veggie sandwiches here.
If we hadn’t got such a long journey in front of us the shop area looked well worth a good browse

Stopped here at random after other places were full or closed and was glad I did. A thoughtful and very tasty menu, with dining area set in lovely surroundings both indoors and outside. Will definitely be back!

Worth visiting for the wholesome food to either take away or eat at the cafe. There is also plenty of great local produce to pick up for your weekend / holiday / to cook at home. Excellent for present shopping too -locally and responsibly sourced gifts, childrens games, and a selection of cards. If only all car journey pit stops were as good as this.

Road trip from Cornwall
After 3 hours driving with a Lay by stop, what I really needed was food and tea and water. Came into Teals , been once before loved it. Was so tired that girls sat me down and talked me through menu as my glasses in car! Great chicken coronation on big soda bap and tray on chips . Really yummy and filling . Nothing too much trouble the staff where great. I looked around the store too full of lovely things any time of year especially pre Christmas as like now. Toilets very clean and several . Lovely walks for dogs and beautiful orchards laden with fruit viewed from the cafe windows . Lovely to walk around in Summer and wellies like todays weather. Only just off the A303 and back straight in journey happy and content. Thank you ps Take away service is great too.

Soooo many things
Arghhhhhh! Soooo many things I wanted to buy but restrained myself to coffee and cake from the cafe. Great selection of produce and artisan style eats and treats. Proper butcher nestled nicely in there to. If you want some good quality different products pop in. Failing that if it’s all too much then hit the cafe and gorge yourself on delicious locally made dishes 😊

What a find!
Travelling back from Dartmouth to Brighton with my dog, Benjie, I saw signposts for Teals (Farmshop, then later reminders for food and great coffee) and decided to give it a shot. So pleased I did: excellent shop with delicious salads, sandwiches and yes, GREAT coffee (!) Super friendly staff and the cherry on the cake? Dedicated dog walking facilities of a decent length and area. Teal’s is now a favourite pinned spot for my regular journeys to Dartmouth. Very happy to have found it. 10 out of 10!

Stopped here on our way home after a week in Somerset. Had an amazing breakfast 😋 and the farm shop is full of the most delicious produce. The 5 seed sourdough is one of the best I’ve tasted. We will definitely go back next time we are in the area.
